GPIOX Cards & Test Boards

ADCXB 2 Gsample/s A/D Converter

The ADCXB is a GPIOX card with two coherent A/D converter channels and precision 2 GHz clock source. The 10 bit A/D outputs connect to the User Logic chips on the MAP® via an in-package 4-way Demux. The channels can be used either independently or in a coherent fashion such as for the capture of Angle of Arrival information. Inputs to the card are differential but can be used in single ended mode by adding a 50 ohm terminator to one of the differential input legs. The card also has an RS232 port to allow the user to connect additional equipment for collecting such information as navigation or GPS data. The ADCXB card can be used with all SRC products that support GPIOX.

IOX Camera Link Interface

The IOX Camera Link Interface is a GPIOX card that will accept three Camera Link Base connections or one Full/Med connection and one Base connection. Each Camera Link connection supports typical frame sizes and pixel depths, and dot rates, programmed by the user via the Carte™ Programming Environment. In addition to the Camera Link connections, the card can be ordered with an RS232 option to allow the user to connect to additional equipment. The IOX Camera Link card can be used with all SRC products that support GPIOX.

IOX Card

SRC’s IOX card is a GPIOX card that connects all of the GPIOX signals to two connectors. The GPIOX "A" signals are routed to connector J102, and the GPIOX "B" signals are routed to connector J103. Three voltages (+5V, -5V and +12V) are routed to the connectors J102 and J103.

  • 2 Samtec 120 pin connectors (QTH-060-01-L-D-LC) (J102 and J103)

  • 48 data pairs per connector (positive and negative) or;
    96 single-ended data per connector (J102 and J103)

  • 1 clock pair per connector (positive and negative) or;
    2 single-ended clocks per connector (J102 and J103)

  • +5V, -5V & +12V per connector (J102 and J103)

GPIOX Test Board

SRC’s GPIOX Test Board plugs into the GPIOX connector and provides connectors for logic analyzers, scopes and signal generators. This allows the engineer to both monitor signals from and inject signals into the USER logic. There are also two pushbutton switches and eight DIP switches to provide input into the USER logic, and five LED indicator lights that are controlled by the USER logic. Finally there is a 4 Mbit Flash PROM that can be programmed with a JTAG download cable. The data stored in the PROM can then be read by the USER logic.

  • 80 single ended data signals or;
    40 data pairs (positive and negative)

  • 10 single ended clocks or;
    5 clock pairs (positive and negative)

  • 10 8x2 data headers (.025" square, .100" spacing)

  • 5 2x1 clock headers (.025" square, .100" spacing)

  • 2 pushbutton switch inputs

  • 8 DIP switch inputs

  • 5 LED indicator lights

  • 1 4Mbit flash PROM

  • 1 JTAG connector (Samtec IPL1-103-02-F-D)
